Fixing Google for Android Shows as Offline

Users of the Google or Google Assistant for Android may find times when the app displays a message that says “Offline. No network available. Check your connection and try again.“. It may display this message even when their is an Internet connection.

Try these steps to fix this issue.

Toggle Airplane Mode

Slide down the notification bar, then switch “Airplane Mode” on. Wait about 10 seconds, then turn Airplane Mode back off.

If the above step do not work, you may want to try to restart the phone.

Clear Google App Data

Open “Settings” > “Apps” > “Google App” > “Storage“.

Select “Clear data“.
